Wahrer Käse in und um San Francisco nahm seinen Anfang mit dem Cheese Board in North Berkeley vor rund 50 Jahren. Zu diesem historischen Ort habe ich es dieses Mal leider nicht geschafft, aber ich weiß, daß der Laden nach wie vor floriert (hier ist ein sehr lesenswertes Portrait von meiner großartigen Kollegin Janet Fletcher – auf englisch). Aber ich habe drei ebenso spannende Käse-Adressen für die nächste Reise nach San Francisco.
